Nobody talks about the channels quietly making $3k/month in the most boring niches imaginable. No drama. No trends. No personal brand. Just a system, a consistent upload schedule & an audience that keeps coming back. Boring is underrated. Boring is scalable. Boring is a business.

Kids are making $40,000 a month stealing free advice from Reddit. There is a pattern running right now on YouTube that professionals refuse to see. Financial advisors, CPAs, and retirement planners are competing to write the longest free breakdowns on Reddit for karma points. Someone else is taking those breakdowns, feeding them into an AI, and turning them into 12 minute educational videos. An AI character named Lana Maynes started posting a month ago. She already has 11,000 subscribers, 493,000 views across 29 videos, and she's selling an Ebook. She explains senior tax deductions, IRMAA planning, and retirement traps that most seniors never hear about. Lana is making $10,000 a month from AdSense in month one. Add the ebook and she is at $20,000 a month minimum. She will hit $40,000 a month in the next 60 days. The CPA who wrote the original Reddit thread on property tax exemptions for seniors is still charging $300 per return and praying for new clients. The kid running Lana Maynes built her from zero to $10,000 a month in 30 days. Using free Reddit advice. The play works because Lana explains property tax exemptions like a normal person talking to their neighbor. Real CPAs explain them like they are defending a dissertation. People pay for information that does not make them feel stupid. Reddit has 200 million answers sitting there right now. Free for anyone with an AI script agent. If you have real expertise and you're giving it away for karma, you're funding someone else's channel. Package it yourself or watch a 22 year old do it for you.

Had a student recently redoing popular videos from his main competitor. But the problem was that competitor hadn't had a major outlier in months. He was recreating what worked a year ago, not what works now. If your competitor is dying, find new benchmarks. Look for channels performing right now, even in adjacent niches. Let’s say you run a basketball channel and struggle for good ideas… Find what's going viral in NFL niches right now. If an NFL video breaking down "the saddest story in football history" is doing millions of views, apply the same approach: "The saddest story in basketball" Use the same video structure. Always pull ideas from what the market is demanding today.

Some of my YouTube channels (177K, 18K, 10K and 1.6K subs) that were demonetized in Dec 2025 for “inauthentic content” are about to complete their waiting period. If any CMS/MCN can assist with monetization restoration under a fair revenue split and provide reliable long-term protection, I’d be happy to connect. If You Were Demonetized for Inauthentic Content, Use your face or hire a UGC creator and make a few minutes of explanation about yourself, what your channel is all about, and what makes it different from other channels. While posting it, make sure to state that the content was not created with AI. Pin it as your channel trailer on your channel’s homepage. Go live on your channel, even if it’s just for one minutes and create a content that resonates around your niche. Don’t appeal again. Immediately the 90 day suspension elapses, reapply. You will be accepted back into the YPP. I have been using this method to help so many persons and non has been rejected.

That's true, nothing can compare to sleep channels. Sleep has always had lower competition because almost nobody wants to produce hours of audio. Add a CMS, and the barrier becomes even higher. Suddenly, you're playing a game with very few competitors. Literally free money. (Until viet people wake up and focus on that 😂)

"if a CMS already has everything, why would they ever take me in?" because having a CMS ≠ being good at ideation or market analysis they're great at licensing, rights, ops, partnerships. that's not the same as knowing how to make a channel explode. licensing doesn't scale execution, an operator does. they can't staff good ideation across 50 niches internally, that's the bottleneck you fill. so you bring the ideation + packaging on content they already have access to, and you're competing against almost no one. the more results you bring, the more they trust you. better rev share, bigger doors, sometimes they pull you in on strategy we're so deep in AI and faceless stuff that we forget the asset was never the niche, it's the skillset. that travels anywhere.

You can simply license content and make millions on YouTube This will be a long tweet showing you a side of YouTube no one showed you yet, and for good reason If you have CMS contacts, you can simply show licensing agreements and get access to O&O or Managed YouTube channels

Go to your biggest competitor's channel and sort by most popular. The top video is two years old, did 10x everything around it, and they never made another like it. They got lucky once and never understood why. That one is yours to make properly.

Spotify is the most underrated platform for YouTubers and nobody knows it. Not music. Not podcasts. Your actual videos. Spotify built a video product, started paying people to upload to it, and the YouTube world hasn't realized it yet. Here is what they missed. 700M+ people open Spotify every month, and the video you already published to YouTube runs there exactly as it is. You upload the same file. You reach people who will never find you on YouTube. Spotify pays you for it. The part that should bother you is what it costs to do. Nothing. The video is already made and sitting in your library. You are not creating anything new. You are taking a finished video that already pays you once and getting it to pay you a second time, and the upload is free. I do not know another move in 2026 where the work is already done and the price is zero. And the money is real. Spotify pays you two separate ways on the same video. Free users watching trigger ad revenue and you keep half of it. Premium subscribers watch with no ads at all, and you get paid a second time based on what they actually watch, not on how many ads ran. Channels are reporting two to three times their YouTube payout for the identical content. Then there is the thing that changed the math completely. In January, Spotify cut its monetization requirements by about 80%. You now need three published episodes, and the videos you already posted count. A thousand engaged listeners in 30 days. Two thousand consumption hours in 30 days. And you have to be in an eligible country, which covers the US, UK, Canada, Australia and ten more. Any channel with a real audience hits that this quarter. Not this year. This quarter. Your competitors are sitting on a full library of finished videos and ignoring all of it because they decided Spotify was a music app and never looked again. The channels that move now will be getting paid by Spotify before everyone else even knows it pays. DM me for method :)
