Amit Man was 22 years old - a talented singer, an outstanding paramedic, and a young woman who dreamed of becoming a doctor. Amit was still on the phone with her sister when she said, “They shot me. They murdered everyone. I’m not going to survive this. They’re on me.” Moments later, they shot her in the head. The terrorists never reached Amit’s apartment that day. Had she stayed there, she might have survived. But Amit did what she believed in, with extraordinary devotion, and it cost her her life. This is a story about courage. 🚨BREAKING: Eritrean migrant Bruke Desalagne, 33 raped an elderly man outside of a church in Harrow, London. • Desalagne dragged the heavily intoxicated pensioner from a bench behind a hoarding at St John’s Church in Harrow around midnight on 23 July last year. • The 20-minute assault took place on a grass verge as cars and a double-decker bus drove past nearby. • CCTV showed him pausing whenever members of the public walked close by. • A witness spotted the attack from her window, called police and filmed part of it on her phone. • Officers arrived within five minutes and arrested him at the scene. • A jury at Harrow Crown Court took just over two hours to convict him after watching the footage.
