At the same time, they are pursuing an $83 billion acquisition of Warner Bros. > @Markiplier self-financed a film called Iron Lung with no studio backing and did $51 million at the box office > Ms. Rachel, a YouTube kids creator with 19 million subscribers, signed a major deal with Netflix Creator-made films are now being distributed by major studios. The same institutions that controlled distribution and who got paid are now chasing the people they dismissed as internet personalities. YouTube commands the largest share of TV viewing time in the US, sitting ahead of Netflix, Disney and every traditional broadcaster combined. Hollywood ignored creators for over 20 years; now the power has shifted completely. That is a huge win for every creator and business being built in this space right now.

I don't think most teams truly realize the power of community yet... - Community Generated Content is free UGC - Good advocates increase ROI on marketing spend - Built-in engagement on all social content - Free feedback on everything - Trust & retention crucial in AI era Almost everyone under-using this channel. Big opportunity for differentiation & acquisition. I could see community blowing up as a tactical advantage, once people realize ~6 months maybe?

The content game has gotten so much easier tbh. Now that everyone uses AI to ship high volume slop, it's actually much easier to stand out. This is the opposite of how I thought AI content would play out. Skills get dull when you outsource the thinking. Tons of people had been sharpening their skills for months/years and just completely reverted back to average trying to shortcut the creative process. Not to say some AI-driven content workflows aren't working, but the majority of people trying this are slop factories masquerading as "productivity warriors" Generational time for those at the top of this game.

I'm 19 years old. At 16 I sold my unblocked gaming website for $100k. At 18 I sold Cal AI while at $40M ARR. Now, my co just hit $300K MRR a month after launch. The most important lesson I've learned to be successful in consumer is to dumb everything down. 1) Demonstrate the value of your product in 3 seconds or less in any advertising material. 2) Write messaging as if you are talking to a 3rd grader. 3) Make buttons so obvious that you can't get lost. The is the key concept that makes apps viral and also high converting.
