Technically this may be correct. But pensioners can call 0800 99 1234 and a helpful DWP person will fill it in over the phone. Most questions can be ignored.

@grahamchatterl2 In our secondary. - none. We expect Y7 to get lost. We ( staff and older pupils) support them to get where they need to be. Why wouldn’t you? Does this really happen elsewhere?

@sciteach1994 @steadmansj I’ve just done the training for this term only - despite being a mentor for many different organisations over the last 26 years! 1 full day and several ( 5 or 6 I think) after school sessions .

A thread on teacher wage as a single parent: Things no one talks about in teaching- unless you’re a single parent. The horrific pay. You all went out & protested last year but imagine you didn’t have a partner wage coming in. Or maybe if you were lucky CSA payment to help. 1/

One of my lovely students told me she’s raising money for charity in aid of cancer as her mother just overcome a cancer diagnosis. How about guidance on: ▪️how to get a qualified teacher in every class, ▪️how to stop the roof from leaking, ▪️how to rebuild classrooms built with RAAC, ▪️how to get a CAMHS referral in less than a year. You know, all things that are actually hard to do and need DfE support.

@hrogerson We start the new timetable in July so any issues are resolved for Y8 to 11 before the holidays- first time we have done it this year. It seemed to work well

So these are vapes. NOT highlighters. highlightvape.com/products/offic… What practical reason is there for these being made to look like stationery? Is it to fool teachers/parents/carers? To entice young people? This is wrong.

@Mellow_Pascoe Whenever my pupils ask me what they need to pass- I ask them what their target it. For some pupils accessing the paper is a pass. Pupils are unique and so is their “pass” mark- it’s not grade 4.
