@CardChronicle I bet the AP Poll ranks us #23-#25 prior to the highly touted opener against #10 Ole Miss. They love those top 25 matchups, and if we are considered right around that area in the polls already, it makes complete sense as to something they’d do to elevate viewership numbers.

The Yankees pitching staff is good enough to win a World Series. They’ve been lights out, best ERA in the league. Add a pen piece, a bat, and GET HEALTHY. They don’t have to go huge this deadline…but they need a bat to hold position until the 100 HRs on the IL return.

@Christian_NYYST I mean he’s never played a second in the MLB…so yes, it’s certainly possible he brings less. While he’s not been great, Caballero has at least been serviceable. But bringing him up may bring out the best in both. I’m not against it, just not sure it does much for us.

A major league catcher launching a ball into left field with 2 outs in extra innings up 1 is one of the more ridiculous things I’ve seen at this level in a long time. Not even sure you’d see that in a little league game.
