They most likely got it from Olympus DAO from 2021, one of the first protocols to explicitly refer to the flywheel concept as it pertained to their ecosystem. CT would often refer to it as “Defi 2.0 liquidity flywheel”. Or perhaps they got the term from Jim Collins in his book “From Good to Great” in 2001.
