Those who don’t understand why Gaza is being bombed don’t understand the depth of the national trauma that Israel is going through right now. The images of hostages are hanging in every corner, on every street. Every party and every ideological movement has died, and the only agenda that’s alive is bringing back the hostages and to exterminate Hamas, no matter the price is. The reason 7 October was able to happen was because Israelis had started to trust Gazans, a trust that was shattered in the most outrageous way possible. Imagine starting to trust your enemy, only for them to use your trust to kill your daughter and kidnap your mother. I don’t think Israelis will ever accept, forgive, or forget how this trust was destroyed. I have never seen a people and a community be so emotionally battered as Israelis are right now. You can feel their sadness and grief in the air. You breathe it in Jerusalem and in Tel Aviv. I am also very moved by how much Israelis love their nation and people, how far they will go for their people. I am very moved but also very jealous. If October 7 was a Swedish tragedy, it would take the Swedes less than 2 days to start organising rainbow “anti-hate” protests. Israelis, on the other hand, know very well that you can’t negotiate with terrorists.

This is sheer sophistry. Muslims came from Arabia in the 7th century to invade, conquer, and colonize virtually the whole Middle East. Today, as a result, there are 55 Muslim nations and 21 Arab countries — not one of which the left seeks to decolonize. As for historic Palestine, 77% of the territory has been a Muslim Arab country devoid of Jews — (Trans)Jordan — since 1921. Israel is the one modest sliver of land ruled by its indigenous people, the Jews, who had been living there for centuries before the Muslim Arabs showed up. The left doesn't care about "decolonizing" Palestine or anywhere else in the Middle East. If it did, it would be marching in the streets and demonstrating on campuses to restore Kurdistan to the Kurds, Morocco & Algeria to the Berbers, and Egypt to the Copts. No — the only left-wing priority in the region is to strip Jewish sovereignty from the only bit of territory where Jews have ever been sovereign. Jew-hatred always finds a larger cause to latch onto. In medieval times, antisemites used Christianity as a pretext. In the 20th century, they dressed up their bigotry as racial hygiene. Today their hatred of Jews masquerades as decolonization. In the end it always comes to the same thing: Jews cannot live on the same terms as other people. There is only one Jewish country on earth, but for the likes of Malcolm Harris and his left-wing friends, that is one Jewish country too many.

Gaza is not occupied. On October 7th, Hamas-ISIS terrorists infiltrated into Israel. Women were raped, babies were burned alive, entire families were slaughtered and 240 Israelis were kidnapped. Our people's lives are not for your free use in this childish popularity game. 85 year old Shlomo Ron died so his family would live. When Hamas terrorists attacked his kibbutz, he instructed his wife, his daughters and grandson to hide in the safe room while he went to sit in the living room. He knew if Hamas terrorists would see him, they would assume he was alone, execute him and move on. He was right. May his memory be a blessing.

My cousin Livnat, her husband Aviv, and their 3 kids were brutally killed by Hamas. At 7am, after waking up from sirens, they ran into their safe room. Terrorists invaded their home and mercilessly murdered them. This was a cold-blooded act that devastated our family #HamasisISIS
