🚨New working paper: Here we experimentally demonstrate across 33 countries that civic education can mitigate the negative effects of partisan polarization by increasing the likelihood of voting for non-partisan, pro-democratic candidates. 1/ osf.io/preprints/osf/…

Finally, I am excited to be the recipient of an ICPSR scholarship and funding for an experiment! Looking forward to (some rest) and the coming year!
Three papers coming up: one on support for regimes and democratic deconsolidation; two others with @laurabegc on party-sponsored protests and democracy + one on measurement and non unimodal distributions.
