@arj One could have a high quality detection composed of multiple indicators that independently weren’t that meaningful. But generally, high precision results are not achieved through combining low precision sources.

@3mm4h3ff Was a developer. One day, CTO falls off a chair: physically destroys server with source code. I got to learn Netware and networking by restoring the backups (not the recommended entry point) then pivoted to security because full stack + risk mgmt + trial by fire = security.

Ian Levy of GCHQ has released an essay on how law enforcement should get access to end-to-end encrypted communications. Here is the critical bit to pay attention to. They're proposing to exploit the fact that users don't verify each other's public keys, and inject bad keys.
