@thomasnewton I did the same validation this year, and double checked it matched the advertised URL on the council website. Legit sites shouldn't train people to accept scam sites.

@thomasnewton @TerraOrBust You would think they'd be entirely compliant if they provided the same access their own MDATP and friends used, or where a third party made a request to get at something else, provide a safe and secure route to the required functionality in a reasonable timeframe.

@bloodearnest And you're doing this to an actual Chromecast, not a Chromecast supporting device? We've got I think the second gen round ones, not the 4k one, and not the newer one with the remote.

@bloodearnest What annoys me with Chromecast is the partial implementations. So with my Samsung TV I can cast somethings to (Youtube etc.) in 4k with controls, but can't cast photos, or cast from Chrome, unless I use an actual Chromecast, without those controls, and then in HD not 4k.
