@itvMLshow I apply for Warm Home Discount each year as I'm working age disabled, but my electricity supplier doesn't pay till March - so I won't know till then whether I'll get the payment & can afford to put my heating on - doesn't this long delay undermine the point of WHD?

I can afford to pay the rent & have a deposit & savings, but I'm concerned landlord rent to people on benefits.

In London rents appear to be dropping so I'm concerned I may commit myself to a lease at the current LHA but then later the LHA will be dropped &I'm won't be able to afford the rent.

@StagecoachSW Bus 9A failed to stop at Lower Summerlands stop at 1705 on Friday 28 August - the driver sailed past without even preparing to stop, though I am highly visible in a massive purple Dryrobe. It's the second time this bus has sailed past at that stop at that time.

@cyclestreets Is the app still working? I can't plan journeys on my phone - if I mark start & end points then try to plot a route I get an error message; & it can't find any locations. I'm stuck using a compass!

@ToolstationUK Hello, I paid for an order in store on Monday & took away half what I’d paid for with half due to be collected in store on Tuesday. What will happen about those items I have already paid for? Will they be delivered? Can I collect them? Can I get a refund? Thanks.

@BBCWomansHour Discussions on women’s advancement in legal careers often treat women as if the only barrier is motherhood. A significant minority of professional women do not have children, & still face discrimination even so. Being a woman & being a parent are 2 separate issues.

@BBCWomansHour In 1999 at second interview at a City law firm I was told that women employees were required to wear skirts; I said I couldn’t work for a firm that didn’t trust me to know how to get dressed for work. I took it as a clue they wouldn’t support my career advancement!

Thank you @BBCWomansHour for reading out my tweet. Back then, we used to say to each other “Every woman has to find her own way” - because navigating ignorance, prejudice & discrimination in a system based on patronage is a real challenge.
