As a martyr for the sake of truth I pray that the loss of @charliekirk11 stirs the complacent, those undecided and the timid to follow in his footsteps as clarions of truth. Not advocating for violent revolution, but the opposite, willing to suffer violence for the sake of truth.

The Greek word martyr is translated in the New Testament to be witness (Acts 1:9). Charlie was just that, a witness to truth. He will be sorely missed here as a voice for truth, a husband and father. I firmly believe that he is receiving his "well done good and faithful servant".

@MikasNix7873 @samdattola1 @MargieSunn53478 @EYakoby 1 Peter 2:9 says that believers in Jesus (context of the writing) are a Royal Priesthood and a Holy Nation. This was what God had intended for the ethnic Israel, but redefined for all believers in Jesus, the majority of which in the beginning were in fact Jews.

@MikasNix7873 @samdattola1 @MargieSunn53478 @EYakoby That's not what that means. There is no first or second it is God's people or not. Ethnicity plays no part. The Jews have a previous blessing that is not revoked, but those who reject Christ will be rejected. See Peter's 1st epistle.

Jesus said that He was the way, the truth and the life. This life is not just for heaven after physical death, but life to be experienced in the here and now. This life gives us hope and purpose and is found as we continue to abide (remain or live) in His presence.

@michaeljknowles This is a pretty weak argument that is not supported on real world experience. The passing down of ideas and traditions can very quickly be corrupted. The Apostle John indicates this himself, that wolves would be coming into the church while he was still alive! 🧵 1/2

@charliekirk11 Well said. I disagree with the commentary on her gender and not having political speech in church, the important thing to address is her content and overall presentation and how that is contrary to the word of God.
