@JacquiOatley @WEURO @FIFAWWC My 8yr old daughter was born into a Chesterfield\Sunderland supporting household. Just as she was about to be born, they were 2 of the bottom 6 worst points totals in the 92 and we had 4 relegations in 2 seasons between the clubs with CFC falling into the National League.

@ToonFan14 So then we are down to a consistency thing with officials. No different to the incident that saw a Sth African player dismissed in the opening game. Mexican player slowed up and ran straight across him but they gave a foul and red card.

@ryanw147 In this age of VAR it’s just silly by haaland to do it. Always going to end up costing them if the corner comes to anything. More ridiculous the ref didn’t give it without VAR being involved.

If there is one thing about this World Cup it’s after every game some folk cooking up nonsense to say a team was robbed. The push by haaland is blatant, the ball doesn’t hit the wire, it wasn’t a foul on the Norway player and it should have been a penalty to England!
