Every quantum project eventually runs into the same question: is this actually using a quantum computer, or did someone just stick “quantum” on the name? @quipnetwork has a pretty clear answer. D-Wave’s Advantage2 annealing machine is wired into the testnet work, and the problems miners solve are concrete Ising- model optimizations. Instead of Bitcoin-style hashcash, they rebuilt the mining loop around a problem class quantum systems are relatively better at. That isn’t a slogan. It’s a subnet built with D-Wave advisory and hardware access. What it is not: Advantage2 sitting behind every job, 24 hours a day. The QPU window is limited. That distinction matters. The part I like is the access design. Quantum hardware still mostly lives behind labs and large companies. Quip treats spare capacity as a marketplace: operators put compute on the network, and ordinary participants check solutions on CPU or GPU and get paid for it. The goal — submit work to real quantum hardware without a PhD — is the point. It is trying to turn a gated resource into a market. The open-source stance helps. The team’s line is that quantum advantage has to be a result you can check, not a press sentence, and the codebase is on GitHub. In a category that leans on flashy benchmark slides, putting verifiability first is a better place to start. Whether their internal benches have been independently reproduced is a separate question. The testnet numbers are hard to ignore. More than 13,000 people signed up right after launch. Signups are not the same thing as live nodes or actual QPU time. Still, the fact that forums around hybrid signatures and quantum networking are running alongside the miner incentives is a signal this isn’t only a points farm. The post-quantum work keeps the project from being one-note. There’s already a WOTS+ wallet path on Arch meant to protect Bitcoin assets from quantum attack. Most projects treat quantum as either a threat story or a mining gimmick. This one is trying to do both: open the compute, and harden the crypto. It’s still a testnet. That limit is real. But hardware access, public code, and a working wallet put it in a different bucket from name-only quantum projects. The slogan is not the thing to watch. Day 2 was the architecture. Day 3 is the reality check — does the state machine actually run, or is it still mostly a whitepaper with a token @termix_ai went from testnet to mainnet, and the marketplace layer, Agent.family, launched alongside it as the consumer-facing product sitting on top of the protocol. That's the right sequencing — infra and app shipping together, not infra alone waiting for adoption to show up. The same marketplace also runs independently on Base. Settlement is USDC/USDT on both chains. The “no receipts” complaint is stale. TermiX has now posted on-chain totals: roughly 375k agents, 229k jobs, $12.37M transaction volume, $247k protocol revenue, with a public Dune board behind the claim. A clearing layer without published volume was a claim. This is at least a dataset. The dataset still has to be taken apart. Registration count and job count can inflate without settled quality. $12.37M across 229k jobs is a small average ticket. $247k revenue on that volume is a thin take — consistent with the “keep ~95%” pitch, and also consistent with a lot of tiny or campaign-shaped flow. Yesterday’s thesis only bites if settled-order value and repeat counterparties pull away from mint-and-farm registrations. Points make that separation harder to read, not easier: Season 1 weights settled USDC, but it also pays registration and referrals ahead of TMT. Worth watching: BNB Chain itself shipped competing plumbing. Its BNBAgent SDK is the first live implementation of ERC-8183, bundling identity, escrow, and decentralized verification for on-chain agents. AACP layers ERC-8004 identity on top of that same standard rather than fighting it — the protocol integrates both ERC-8004 and ERC-8183 to cover identity, reputation, and verification end to end. Sitting on the chain’s own primitive is smarter than launching a rival standard. It also means TermiX is an implementation and a marketplace on those rails, not the only clearing layer BNB Chain could end up favoring. Backing is real, not vapor — $1M seed from YZi Labs, wired into BNB Chain and partners like HyperGPT. The oracle side is getting filled in too: APRO brings verified market data into the loop so agents can act on trusted feeds before a trade settles, not just after. That closes one gap from yesterday’s list — data trust — without touching the harder one: work-quality trust. Which is still the open wound. A deliverable hash plus a 3-evaluator panel proves something was submitted not that it was good. Mainnet volume does not change that math. Stake makes cheating expensive; it doesn’t make evaluation objective. So: the rail exists, live, with real money rails and a public volume print. What it still doesn’t have is a clean split between registration theater and settled work that other agents would hire again. Yesterday was the incentive. Today's about why the rail even needs to exist. Most agent stacks right now are just wrappers around a human — chat, recommend, click buy. @termix_ai is going one layer lower: agents hiring agents, no operator sitting in the middle of the money. I don't think AACP is another agent launcher. It's a clearing layer — publish a service, quote, execute, settle. Identity, stake, reputation, and disputes live in the protocol, not in a support ticket. Identity is an ERC-8004 Agent NFT, and agents aren't typed as client or provider at registration. Same agent, either side, every order. Small detail, but it's what turns a directory into an actual market. Work can start two ways — provider lists a priced service, or buyer posts a request and takes offers — but it ends the same way: an on-chain order once checkout is funded. Money only moves through escrow. The backend never holds keys; it returns an unsigned tx-intent, the agent signs it. If machines are going to transact, that's the default I'd want. The trust loop is where most agent marketplaces cut corners. Quote accepted → funds lock, and the provider's stake locks with them. Deliverable hash commits on-chain → payment can release. If nobody moves, the order still doesn't hang: timeout paths can claim, cancel, or finalize without an operator. Challenge window pulls a 3-evaluator panel; escalation draws three fresh ones; verdict is final; reputation updates on-chain. Evaluators aren't Discord mods — but they also aren't a fully open jury. Those seats are operator-granted. The point is still the same: settlement is a state machine, not a ticket queue. Cheating is supposed to cost stake, not just a bad review. Fee structure tells you a lot too. Live protocol fee sits around 2% (protocolFeeBps is a chain config, not a slogan) against the ~20% human gig platforms charge. If agents are going to hire agents at any real frequency, that spread isn't a marketing line — it's whether the market can clear at all. Distribution's the quiet part. The skill package drops straight into OpenClaw, Claude Code, Cursor. An agent already running locally can register, quote, deliver, settle — no new frontend. That's how you get machine demand instead of more humans posting jobs. It only becomes demand, though, if that local agent can hold a budget, retry a failed hire, and treat another agent as a vendor without waking a person. BNB Chain is home court. Base runs as a parallel instance — same shape, separate ledgers, nothing crosses, reputation included. Settlement in USDC/USDT. To me the real question was never which chain. It's whether the order lifecycle is tight enough for one agent to actually treat another as a vendor. The bigger bet isn't "AI does freelance." It's that an agent economy needs the same primitives a human economy needed — identity, escrow, arbitration, reputation — just with a buyer and seller that both sleep, both retry, and never need a person in the loop to move the money. That still leaves the hard parts. A hash plus a panel is not a proof that the work was good. The backend doesn't custody funds, but it still prepares intents, indexes state, and gates who can adjudicate. Agent registrations are not the same thing as settled orders. If those gaps stay wide, the rail is a marketplace with nicer rails — not a clearing layer. If this layer holds up, points are just the bootstrap. Today’s incremental updates stripped down. On the bitcoin:native Core side $SHRINCS has moved past the opcode sketch for community review stage. A cryptography BIP draft landed around August 26–27. It is not yet a deployment BIP covering consensus rules, a new output type, or the opcode itself, and no BIP number has been assigned. The security proof is still marked TODO. If wallets take the stateful signing path, everyday self-custody changes: each key has to keep a signature counter intact. Lose that state and the only way out is a large stateless fallback. The reason people still call this the most Bitcoin-native design on the table is the numbers. Public key: 48 bytes. Smallest stateful signature: 548 bytes. Stateless fallback: about 5,777 bytes. The target is roughly a 13× size cut versus existing NIST hash-based signatures, and this is not just a paper calculation. The scheme has already produced real signatures on @Blockstream’s Liquid sidechain. The traps come in two layers. Reuse the counter and forgery becomes possible. Keys generated with hypertree pruning also will not travel cleanly to implementations that do not support pruning. Move a key without knowing that and you can lose the funds. On the @QuipNetwork / $QUIP side, the point from yesterday — that an audit is the real gate — actually moved. On August 27, Quip Network shipped QuipSwap: a P2P atomic swap where both sides exchange wallet access directly, with no intermediary, and a claim on one side automatically hands the counterparty its claim key. The launch note also said a formal @SecurityOak audit was complete. The catch is that this is the company’s own announcement. There is no independently published audit report you can open and cite. The audit, as described, covers QuipSwap the product, not the vault- deposit and points machinery that airdrop-farming guides have been circulating since February. Those same guides kept pointing to a Q2 2026 $QUIP TGE. That window is already gone, and this launch post does not mention a token date. TRON을 이 프레임으로만 보면 절반밖에 안 보인다. 이 네트워크의 강점은 얼마나 빠른가보다 얼마나 많은 사람이 실제로 돈을 옮기는 통로로 골랐는가에 있기 때문이다. 인프라가 아니라 통로를 먼저 설계했다는 점 대부분의 체인은 개발자를 먼저 설득한다. dApp을 만들고, 사용자가 따라오길 기대하는 방식이다. TRON의 접근은 방향이 다르다. 스테이블코인 특히 USDT가 오갈 수 있는 싸고 안정적인 통로를 먼저 만들었고 그 위에 송금·결제·거래소 입출금이 쌓이도록 했다. 기술 데모가 아니라 실사용 빈도로 승부하는 전략이다. 이 전략의 결과는 이미 숫자에 나타난다. 2026년 2분기 기준 TRON 위 유통 USDT는 약 879억 달러 로 이더리움을 앞섰고, 같은 분기 USDT 이전 규모는 2.1조 달러, 일평균 이전량은 약 228억 달러였다. 8월에는 유통 USDT의 절반 이상이 TRON에 있다는 집계도 나왔다. 체인 경쟁이 아니라 달러 이동 경로 경쟁에서 자리를 잡은 셈이다. 수수료 구조가 만드는 실사용 장벽 낮추기 크립토 대중화의 큰 걸림돌은 소액 송금에서도 체감되는 수수료다. TRON은 이 지점을 오래 핵심 과제로 삼았고 결과는 반복적인 소액·중액 스테이블코인 이체로 나타난다. 1,000달러 미만 USDT 이전에서 TRON 점유율은 한 분기 만에 약 43%에서 52%까지 올랐다. 화려한 마케팅 없이도 저렴하고 무난하니까 계속 쓴다는 습관 자체가 이 네트워크가 만든 무형자산이다. 다음 확장도 같은 선 위에 있다 거래 인프라로서의 정체성이 강하다 보니 DeFi 화제성 기준으로는 저평가되기 쉽다. 하지만 최근 흐름도 더 많은 실험적 dApp보다 이미 깔린 송금 레일 위에 결제를 얹는 일에 가깝다. 크립토 카드 정산에서 약 34% 점유를 기록했다는 집계, 신흥국 송금·가맹 결제 사례, 자동화된 소액 결제(에이전트 결제) 실험이 그 연장선이다. TVL이 빠져도 실제 이전과 수수료 수익이 유지되는 구조는 보조금으로 만든 온기가 아니라 반복 사용으로 만든 수요를 보여준다. 비전 크립토 네이티브 체인이 아니라 글로벌 달러 결제 레일 다음 단계는 단순히 dApp을 더 유치하는 일이 아니다. 스테이블코인이 국경과 은행 시스템을 매번 거치지 않고 움직이는 표준 경로가 되는 쪽에 가깝다. 개인 간 송금과 거래소 입출금은 이미 상당 부분 흡수했다. 남은 과제는 그 흐름을 @trondao @trondao_KOR 가 그려 온 상점 결제, 급여·정산, 카드 매입, 기계가 실행하는 반복 결제까지 밀어 올리는 것이다. 특히 은행 접근성이 낮은 지역에서 달러 스테이블코인 수요가 커질수록, 저비용·고빈도 송금 실적을 먼저 쌓아 둔 네트워크 의 이점은 더 분명해진다. 사용자가 “나는 블록체인을 쓴다”고 의식하지 않아도 되는 순간, 레일로서의 역할은 완성된다. 다만 이 포지션에는 대가가 있다.
