There's lots of desirable org structures out there (product teams, feature, outcome teams, etc) however often structure is dictated by our constraints. do we have enough people to staff x product teams? does our tech allow us to be independent? where are we investing? etc

Cost of delay is usually substantial—orders of magnitude higher than dev salaries. It’s worth investing in learning about tech we _might_ use to reduce that delay should we need the tech. Learning gives us options. The other issue is slack time. 2/3

It's never worth the effort to prioritize or estimate an entire large backlog. Go though it and identify the 10 most valuable things. Prioritize those things. Given that you'll do that work in the next few weeks, time spending estimating is probably worthless too.
