@PRHSspanish I’m torn because I know it’s a self soothing behavior for a lot of kids’ anxiety — which we know has skyrocketed. And at the same time they are not learning when their head is in TikTok, etc.

@tressiemcphd I’ve thought a lot about this. I teach at a HS where 80% of Stu and Tea are Black. Pre COVID, many wore dashiki one day per week, including 1 w teacher. I’ve never felt comfort although I was invited to participate as a new teacher when I started there.
