Lionel Messi is the exact reason you should live solely on your own terms. The man speaks ill of no one. He disrespects neither teammates nor rivals. He is the best to ever do his craft. Yet he has dedicated haters. If ever a man (let alone a player) should have had no haters, it is Messi. Still, on account of nothing but his matchless success, he commands a horde of them. Do what thou wilt. People will talk regardless. A life lived minding what people will say is a wasted life.

The problem with men is when they're into a woman, they suddenly start making excuses for her. They can see the early signs that she's not into him but they'll keep pushing until they get embarrassed and have to walk away themselves. Men fail to understand that what most women want from men is free attention and validation without any sort of commitment. Most of them don't want you or desire any sexual relationship with you. They just keep you around in order to cure their boredom and to always have that simp who constantly remind them how beautiful and special they are while in order cases, use you to get favors and financial help. This is why every single woman has a guy in the friendzone. When you overly push your luck, they'll make sure to remind you your position in their life. If you have self respect for yourself, you shouldn't wait that long to realize a woman isn't that into you. As a man, know your worth and stop entertaining women who only want to use you to inflate their ego and build their self esteem.

You need boredom. A lot of it. Start by going on walks without music. No stimulation. No distractions of any kind. If you learn to sit with your own thoughts, for long enough, in time they will start serving you. You'll start having ideas once again. You'll start developing an extreme sense of clarity that will shift you into the next stage of your life. All by being bored, which is pretty insane.

And that the GOAT was 'just naturally gifted; all talent, and therefore less admirable They told us the man who shrugged off career ending tackles from malicious defenders, bullied players 6 inches taller with the ball glued to his feet, and powered through entire defences with feline agility was somehow the less physical player. While the one who would hit the grass if you breathed too close to him was supposedly the embodiment of physicality. They told us the man who endured back to back int'l final defeats, contemplated retirement, retired, returned, and then *CARRIED a MEDIOCRE* national team to continental and world success lacked tenacity. While the uber narcissistic man-child who sulked after defeats, dismissed competitions he couldn't win, and went on podcasts to diminish the achievements of his rivals was considered the mentally stronger competitor. They told us Messi wasn't a leader, that he lacked the mentality to inspire others And that Ronaldo, the man who claims teammates' goals, rages when they score instead of him, and prioritises personal records over collective success is the superior leader. For 2 decades reality was undone by illusions, truth submitted to myths, evidence cowered before perception and fugazi prevailed over substance, simply because one man was a better performer, marketer and self-promoter who spent his time curating his personal legend because he knew that was the only way he could be in THE conversation. There's a lesson somewhere in there; find it
