@joehall Rand Fishkin did a talk years ago about the measure of a marketer's worth, mostly about how the efforts we put in are as important as the results. Since that talk, I've really focused on doing the right things versus obsessing about results. This has helped (a tiny bit)

@areej_abuali lots of good comments -- i will use a screenreader/speach-to-text once in a while to show teams just how impactful good HTML is for those with accessibility issues.

@kalicassidy @dairpo also - "kids don't play outside anymore and only want to watch tv." the kids in our neighbourhood rule the road -- road hockey, skateboarding, biking -- they get right of way. just don't drive aggressively in residential areas.

every working parent needs a work colleague who is also a parent where you can vent about being a parent and why it's hard af (and also rewarding af). if you don't have a work colleague who is a parent find one that owns a pet. remarkably similar, actually.
