KnoxNet Testnet Is Live- The "Devnet"
KnoxNet is not just another blockchain testnet.
It is an offline-first value transfer network built around a different primitive: the Note — a cryptographically signed bearer instrument that can change hands entirely offline.
Alice can pay Bob. Bob can pay Charlie. Every transfer happens locally, without requiring internet connectivity. Each hop appends a signed entry to the note's transfer chain, creating a verifiable history of ownership.
When any holder eventually reconnects to the network, the note is submitted to KnoxNet, where the complete transfer chain is verified end-to-end and settled with global finality.
This testnet is now open for anyone to explore.
You can claim test funds from the faucet, perform offline A → B → C transfers, settle notes on-chain, run a node, or interact directly through the CLI.
Most importantly, we want people to break it.
Try double-spending. Stress-test the faucet. Run your own node. Push the system to its limits and help us improve it.

Over the past few weeks, we've been focused on bringing together the core pieces of KnoxNet: the settlement layer, note validation, explorer infrastructure, and the foundations for offline stablecoin transfers.
We're now in the final stretch.
KnoxNet Testnet and the public Explorer will go live within the next 48 hours.
The next step is already underway: integrating the Testnet directly into the KnoxNet application. We expect this phase to be completed over the next two weeks.
Once live, users will be able to experience one of KnoxNet's core primitives firsthand: sending USDC offline. Transfers occur device-to-device without internet connectivity at the moment of payment, while the settlement layer handles reconciliation when connectivity returns.
We're excited to put this in the hands of the community and take another step toward making offline stablecoin payments a reality.

$KNX Building the Offline Settlement Stack

We are building KnoxNet as an offline-first value transfer network, not another smart contract chain or wallet layer. The stack includes the KnoxNet node, KnoxNet CLI, and KnoxNet explorer. The node handles note validation, settlement records, peer communication, and reconciliation logic. The CLI gives users a direct way to create wallets, receive test notes, send and accept offline note bundles, submit them for reconciliation, and check settlement status. The explorer will make the network visible through note activity, settlement history, account states, and live network stats.
At the center of KnoxNet is the Note primitive. A note is a signed value object that can move between users without internet at the moment of transfer. Alice can send a note to Bob offline, Bob can send it to Charlie offline, and the full ownership path can later be submitted to the network for reconciliation. Once submitted, the network verifies ownership, signatures, note history, and double-spend conflicts before accepting the latest valid state.
This build is focused on proving the KnoxNet flow end-to-end. Users should be able to run nodes, create wallets, receive testnet notes, transfer them offline, pass them across multiple hops, submit them back to the network, and view the complete note lifecycle inside the explorer. This is the foundation for KnoxNet as an offline-first value transfer network where execution can happen locally first, and global settlement happens later.
We’re taking KnoxNet all the way to the merchant layer.

That’s exactly what we’re building.
The idea is simple: the customer does not need internet to pay, but the merchant can still verify and process the transaction through KnoxNet’s verification endpoints.
A user can hold offline stablecoin notes inside KnoxNet and transfer them locally through Bluetooth, NFC, or WiFi Direct. The merchant terminal receives the note, verifies the payment path, checks the note structure, and pushes it through KnoxNet’s settlement/verification layer before crediting the merchant.
This means payment gateways, POS systems, and merchant apps can support offline stablecoin payments without changing their entire payment flow.
The customer can be offline.
The merchant can stay online.
The payment can still move.
KnoxNet Merchant Terminal is not just another crypto checkout layer. It is a new payment primitive for weak-network environments, physical retail, travel, events, rural commerce, emergency payments, and any situation where internet access should not decide whether value can move.
Stablecoin payments should not fail just because the customer has no signal.

The current work is focused on making USDC compatible with KnoxNet’s local execution environment. That means designing how stablecoin value can be represented, transferred, verified, and later reconciled without every transaction depending on live internet access.
The first version will go live soon inside the beta app with USDC running in test mode. This gives us a controlled environment to test the system across real devices before moving deeper into production-grade stablecoin infrastructure.

KnoxNet — UI/UX Layer Live
We’ve just rolled out the first live build of the KnoxNet app.
This is a skeleton version — focused only on UI/UX. You can jump in, move across screens, and experience the product end-to-end. The core flows, navigation, and interactions are all in place giving you a real sense of how KnoxNet feels in motion.
This release focuses on the experience layer. Some deeper systems are still being wired up behind the scenes, but what you see here reflects the direction we’re taking — how the app responds, transitions, and connects across different states.
We’re putting this out early to get feedback on the experience itself, what feels intuitive, what doesn’t, where the flow breaks, and which parts need to be simplified or reworked. This helps us catch issues at the interaction layer before we build deeper systems underneath.

KnoxNet App Layer: $KNX Initial Build
We’ve started working on an Android build for the app skeleton so users can start trying it out early. This isn’t a functional build yet — the focus is on structure and flow. We’re mapping out how screens connect, how actions move through the app, and how users transition between states without relying on any backend or network assumptions.
Right now it includes the basic navigation, wallet setup flow, and placeholder states for send/receive and transaction history. The core logic is still being wired underneath, but this gives a clear view of how the app behaves end-to-end, how state is represented across screens, and where interactions feel unintuitive or break the expected flow.
The goal here is to iterate on UX early instead of later. Getting this into users’ hands now helps us refine navigation, reduce friction in key actions, and validate the overall structure before we lock it in and start building deeper on top of it.
KnoxNet Development recap : Encrypted Device-to-Device Layer (iOS)
Ever since our launch $KNX team has been working on development of various aspects of our application, interface design/development and native communication libraries.
Interface work has been going on smooth, and for the backend we’ve also started working on a dedicated native layer for device-to-device communication on iOS. Instead of relying on generic abstractions, we’re building custom Swift-level libraries to handle Bluetooth-based data transfer directly between iPhones. The goal here is to have full control over how transaction data is packaged, transmitted, and received under constrained and intermittent connectivity.
On top of that, we’re implementing end-to-end encryption at the transport layer itself. Every payload exchanged between devices is encrypted before leaving the sender and only decrypted on the receiver, with no intermediate readable state. This isn’t just about sending data over Bluetooth — it’s about making sure transaction exchange remains private, tamper-resistant, and verifiable even without any network involvement.
This layer will eventually power how Knox moves between devices in the real world — direct, local, and independent of any external infrastructure. Right now, the focus is on getting reliable encrypted transfer working across devices, and making sure it integrates cleanly with the app’s transaction flow.
