i went ahead and checked the other styles and, turns out, you can change an svg's path with css. i had no idea, and used mask-image instead. oh well

an interesting side-effect of twitter blue boosting replies to the top is that 1. it is widely used by bots (such as those t-shirt bots) to boost their posts 2. as it even works in replies to non-blue subscribers, you can just ping a verified bot to boost your reply, for free

here's an idea for circumventing the twitter client api limits: just take nitter (github.com/zedeus/nitter), connect it to one of those bots/apps that can post through users, and you've got yourself a working (if a bit slow) client

@dst212x @brombinmirko at least on the iphone 7 - yes :) wiki.postmarketos.org/wiki/Apple_iPh… (the pmOS wiki also lists the iphone 6 as booting, but i don't see a package for it... either way, for the devices that have a mainline port, it might be possible)

the mysterious ways, btw, most likely have something to do with power management because the display goes into overdrive and shuts off when the crash happens. then after a reboot there's a ghost image of the samsung logo left over (although it goes away after a minute or 2)

why is mainlining so damn addicting. like i'll just see one thing related to mainline linux and i'm like "yup. time to try to figure out why my mainlining attempts didn't work"
