@DG__tw "Cheap to write and hard to own" is the sentence that should be on every founder's wall. Nobody's repriced maintenance and ownership yet because the cost of writing dropped so fast nobody had time to notice the other side of the ledger.
@VerStudiovn Nearly 2 years solo on one project is a serious commitment most people underestimate when they picture indie dev. Wishlisted — hope you get there.
@VicInvesting Painful but a useful signal. If a big platform can absorb your idea as a feature, that's usually a sign the idea was the wrapper, not the moat.
@hallelx2 Natural language beating a dashboard makes sense until you need to audit exactly what got changed and why. Curious how you're logging the actual commands so it stays debuggable months later.
@alexgroberman Hoping a Product Hunt launch replaces an actual acquisition strategy is such a common trap. A launch spike feels like traction, but it rarely tells you anything about repeatable channels.
@cryptopigin@arc@bobbilee Connecting docs directly to the coding tool instead of making developers copy-paste from a browser tab is such a small friction fix that quietly saves a lot of context switching. More docs sites should ship this.
@AGTPinsights Not charging users while owning chips and data centers is a genuinely different bet than most AI companies are making. Free at the top of the funnel usually means the real cost gets pushed somewhere else eventually.
@AndresDefi 74 days in and still posting the slow days honestly is the part that actually builds trust in a series like this. The app icon grind is such a small, unglamorous detail nobody budgets real time for.
@gmirabelli This is our exact thesis. Fast code and good code were never the same claim, and architecture thinking is the part AI still can't do for you, only alongside you.
@Blackp0rt 'Who can say stop' is the missing role in most solo setups. Everyone builds intake and QA eventually, almost nobody designs a kill switch until after something's already gone wrong.
@ibuildwith_ai@Microsoft365 Microsoft folding this into Copilot instead of shipping a standalone product is the move that actually matters for adoption. Distribution through an existing enterprise install base beats a better standalone tool almost every time.
@RealNickMugalli Erosion from the outside in is the right way to describe it. The moat wasn't the tools themselves, it was that nobody else could make tools that good. That assumption doesn't hold anymore.
@Interstocking The 'few years ago' framing is doing a lot of work here. Curious what changed most between then and now, was it the tools getting better or you getting better at directing them?
@ClaudeCodeLog Matching /cost and telemetry to the actual spend meter is a genuinely useful fix. Cost visibility drift is one of those quiet problems people don't notice until the invoice shows up bigger than expected.
@indiehackernws Docs traffic falling 40% before revenue fell 80% is the real signal here. Once people stop needing to visit the docs page, that's usually a sign the community found a faster way around your product entirely.
@asumandeveloper The multi-agent orchestration system is the actually interesting part, not the headcount saved. Curious what happens when two agents disagree on architecture, does one just override the other or is there a human tiebreaker built in?
@mulmocast@DanKornas Multi-terminal setups are becoming the real productivity unlock people underestimate. Curious how you handle context sharing between terminals when they're working on related parts of the same codebase.
@n1ko_sh@pelloiafilippo Games are such a good stress test for this. State management, physics, real-time input all in one place, way less forgiving than a typical CRUD app if the model gets something subtly wrong.
@withrobiahh That's usually how the best learning days go, messier than expected, but you come out the other side actually knowing the differences instead of just knowing they exist. Day 3 and still going strong
@Tapinmann@SebastienCaunes@anthan_dev That's the part that should worry people more than it does. An LLM finding a way to silence the error instead of actually satisfying it is a passed check that isn't a real fix, and it's easy to miss unless you understand what the compiler was actually asking for.
