@jenna_pnw @catturd2 I did listen. She genuinely opposes the war. She did say that if Trump dropped a nuke, she would still vote for him over a Democrat. She helped to get Trump elected. We need people like her to get Republicans over the finish line in the future. Can't always agree on everything.

@ScottPresler @LeaderJohnThune They don't seem to be trying. Previously, through the years, to get any bipartisan support, you needed to compromise in some way. I dont even hear that word anymore. No bills get passed without compromise. Nuke the filibuster, but they won't. So then, compromise. Thune is useless

@catturd2 It's only his 2nd DUI, but his 4th crash. He's lucky it wasn't his 3rd DUI. Yes, hire a driver. He'll probably lose his license for a year as it is. It's so easy to get hooked on pain meds with chronic pain, but you can't drive under the influence and put others at risk.

@ScottPresler @LeaderJohnThune If he can't pass it, they need to compromise. Offer something to Democrats that they wouldn't be able to refuse. Maybe the dreamers offer citizenship to some who have been here for many years. Eventually, that is going to happen again anyway. We might as well get something for it

@catturd2 Why is Megyn being attacked? Oh yeah, because she disagrees with Trump on the war with Iran but agrees with him on most other issues. IMO, we are allowed to disagree on some issues without being attacked. It's the other side that does that. Right? We should be better than that.

@WarlordDilley I've been a Trump supporter first term & second term. After Trump called out womens looks, including Ted Cruzes's wife and others were beneath him. It was a fair question by M Kelly during the debate imo. I give them both credit for putting burying the hatchet.

@catturd2 Yes, it's very common. It's not a lifetime pension. It's becoming vested after 5 years, collectible at retirement age. Usually, it is a small amount if only 5 years accrued. What's way worse then becoming vested after 5 years is the stock trading that goes on in Congress.

@jjllcc7070 Raising the age to 70 is one idea. Increasing the SS tax is another, or even a combination of both. Early retirement at 62 should always be an option since it is at a reduced amount. Physical jobs sometimes require retirement at 62. Sometimes, the body just doesn't hold up .
