BREAKING: Pope Leo XIV enrages MAGA by warning against "propaganda" being spread in the midst of the war and demands that the "suffering" of the victims be shown to the world. Trump has well and truly met his match... "In the dramatic circumstances of war, information must guard against the risk of turning into propaganda," Leo wrote on X. "It is every journalist's duty to verify the news, so as not to become a megaphone for power. They must show the suffering that war always brings to populations, which entails showing the face of war and recounting it through the eyes of victims." The remarks come in the wake of Pope Leo's call for a ceasefire in the Middle East because, as he said, "violence can never lead to the justice, the stability and the peace that peoples are awaiting." Under Leo's leadership, the Catholic Church has become one of the most stalwart bulwarks against MAGA fascism, with a particular focus on the treatment of migrants and the need for peace.
