@FracSlap "who's this, what's it about?" dead air dropped, pitches get trashed. real humans get through to me, i accept with one tap or it texts me the msg. opens with pre-recorded audio, only fires the llm if they actually talk back.

@Dr_A_Stein Why choose a single solution when we have the financial ability to build resilient comms in EPZs? The budget exists. Sirens, r911, SMS, IPAWS, ALERT FM, etc. First responders carry a radio to supplement cellular connectivity.

@Dr_A_Stein Consider what happens when telco, internet, or other comms fail—been fighting this battle. Landlines and cellphones are insufficient. EAS cannot “wake-up” a TV or radio to receive a message. We solved these problems and yet they rely on switched systems: nrc.gov/docs/ML2226/ML…

@ai6yrham Agreed. Literally begging feds, states, or counties to fund our system for almost 20 years. Our Warners receive messages from ALERT FM enabled stations. The Warner is addressable, polygon based, wakes up, portable. Turning FM into data—a simple, high impact solution.

We’ve evangelized switchless comms until we’re out of breath. Solutions exist; political will is in short supply.
