My father was a disabled vet in WW2. Likely due to artillery or mine, he had mutilple injuries, and after several surgeries lost his leg below the knee. His VA disability was rated at 15% at a Privates rank. Shrapnel worked it's way out of his body well into his 90s. Fair??????
