My boyfriend got his covid vaccine yesterday and I can tell you the most prominent side effect is the inability to shut up about getting the covid vaccine
While the owner of Tyson Foods became $600 million richer during the pandemic, 11,000 of his workers got COVID-19 because they were forced back to work in unsafe and unhealthy plants as managers placed bets on how many would get sick. We must end this disgusting corporate greed.
Right now, Congress should come together and pass a COVID relief package like the HEROES Act that the House passed six months ago. Once we shut down the virus and deliver economic relief to workers and businesses, then we can build back better than ever before.
COVID relief doesn't have to wait until next year. The Senate could—and should—pass the HEROES Act today.
We are issuing a curfew in Ohio that will start Thursday. This will run from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for 21 days. We believe this will help reduce #COVID19 spread. I'm also asking each Ohioan every day to do at least one thing that reduces your contact with others.
Please don’t attend that gathering you were invited to, stay home when you can, and work from home if you can.
Today, I was asked by our hospital leaders to confirm that Ohio remains in a state of emergency. It most certainly does.
This graphic left a real impression on me. Look left: 1 person can infect 406 people within 60 days. Look right: that number drops to 2.5 people - not because of a vaccine, but with masks and physical distance. Now you can see the difference a single individual can make.

I’m on my way to the Senate floor to vote no on Judge Amy Coney Barrett’s nomination to the Supreme Court. Health coverage for millions of people hinges on who fills this seat. It’s clear that this nominee has the potential to do great harm to the American people.
Privately, my Republican colleagues acknowledge this President’s total lack of character and integrity. But publicly? They’re in lockstep with his marching orders because they’re afraid of losing their seats. We need Senators with backbone.
When Donald Trump said his health care plan is “like nothing you’ve ever seen before” he was half right; we still haven't seen it. It's been "two weeks" away for years.
Senate Republicans have violated processes, violated rules, violated their word and, most importantly, violated the will of the American people. This will go down as one of the darker moments in the history of the United States Senate.
