@GordonGChang Simple: Do not name yourself Chang
Banning Chinese EVs did not stop BYD from becoming a global champion. Now Washington is repeating the same failed script with robots and power inverters. When Chinese companies compete on price, scale, and engineering, America no longer calls it competition. It calls it a “national security threat.” Science is politicized. Technology is weaponized. Markets are closed. Then the same country turns around and accuses China of “weaponizing supply chains” and behaving like an authoritarian state. The hypocrisy is almost perfect. China does not force the Global South to ban American products, surrender its technology policy, or join an anti-American bloc. Washington does exactly that to its allies—and still calls itself the defender of freedom. America’s definition of democracy is increasingly simple: You are free to compete, provided China is not allowed to win. The United States does not fear Chinese authoritarianism. It fears Chinese products surviving without American permission.
@TibetCollective Where was his compassion when he had serfs as his slaves??
@parkar_ramiz @TibetCollective @ForeignChinese Stop being the mouthpiece of the west. Challenge your own head first.
Britain also artificially created INDIA and most west also did that to Africa, Malaysia, Philippines well….. you get it.
Capitalism was built on invasion, occupation, slavery, colonial extraction, genocide, and stolen land. Britain killed over 100 million in India. It artificially created the horrific Bengal famine. It waged two Opium Wars against China, attempting to destroy the Chinese nation
@stanzinnangmo The message is LOUD, America is disrupting Tibet
How I slowly lost faith in the Western academic consensus after digging into the data myself. It started with Japanese colonization of Taiwan. Textbooks and "respectable" sources painted Japan as the benevolent modernizer — built infrastructure, hurt nobody, best friend ever. I believed it for years. Supported Taiwanese independence into my early 20s. Then I looked deeper. They built for their benefit. Sucked Taiwan dry. Resisters got snuffed out. As a Chinese diaspora "frog in the well," I had every emotional reason to hate Japan. Family history. Culture. But I try neutrality. Buddhism flourished there — powerful teachings preserved on that journey from India through China. Respect where it's due. Still, in my opinion, the framing was off. Propaganda works because we're emotional beings. No one is pure logic — not even stoic warriors or 15,000-hour meditators like me. Men especially: romantic, protective, quick to HOT blood when the narrative says the enemy must be dealt with. 0-100 real quick, whole squad on that real shit? Next hit: Plaza Accords. Ask any AI the Western consensus version. "Japan's fault. Bad management." Germany faced similar pressure and recovered. Japan? From dominating to second/third rate. Toshiba, Mitsubishi... Push back with material conditions, alliances, geography (destiny), trade realities... and the AI backpedals: "You're right, let me reframe." Eastern voices, experts from Asia, India, Middle East — they get dismissed. But the data doesn't lie. Common thread: no matter how structured the argument, most stay brainwashed. Brutal fact of human nature. I came to Canada at 6. Parents sacrificed 150k+ — nearly broke them. I have roots here, duties in Taiwan, a daughter in BC. I want peace. Less war. Less exploitation. Why can't I speak? Everyone has a voice. Use it — it's healing. Trauma lives in the fascia and marrow. Been called a CCP agent for this. 😂 I'm too lazy, didn't even do my hair. No script — just messy notes bouncing from herbal teachers to Blink-182. Cancer twice changed me. First time: toxic positivity. Second: two years quiet... Western consensus shines on hard science. On culture, history, geopolitics? Questionable as hell. Propaganda thrives in the gray. Gen Z gets it. They're tuning out the noise, creating their own frequency. Boomers, millennials — let them cook. Full send. Life is complicated. Most live in gray. Thieves become kings, kings become snakes, snakes loyal dogs. Don't rush to pick sides. Meditate. Find your path inside. I wrote a free book on it — link in bio. Not perfect, but real. #Geopolitics #QuestionEverything
So now “China had the ability to interfere” is supposed to become evidence that China interfered. Amazing. By that standard, the U.S. has the ability to coup, hack, sanction, assassinate, bomb, surveil, and manipulate elections across the planet. So should every country treat Washington as guilty by default? Reuters itself says the intelligence does not show Beijing manipulated or changed votes. But Washington has found a very convenient formula: ability becomes intent, intent becomes evidence, evidence becomes narrative, and narrative becomes another China scare story.
China urges Europe to stop backing the “illegal” South China Sea ruling to avoid harming ties. Europe should be careful. Almost every European country has its own territorial wounds, separatist questions, border disputes, colonial leftovers, or unresolved historical claims. If Europe wants to fly across the world and stir fire in the South China Sea, China can also learn the game. Catalonia. Scotland. Northern Ireland. Corsica. Kosovo. Cyprus. Gibraltar. The Balkans. Do you really want Beijing to start issuing “rules-based” statements about all of them too? Europe is not a South China Sea claimant. It is not an Asian coastal party. It is not the judge of Chinese sovereignty. Stop pretending your colonial map addiction is international law. If you internationalize China’s backyard, do not cry when China internationalizes yours.
@LUOXIANG_PMTQ He is the most idiotic actor ever. Just look at that face. The face of a villain.
@JosephSomsel Why? United States has no jurisdiction over here. Go home. Stay home and be a good dog.
China’s message to the Philippines is very simple: You do not get to gaslight China with a piece of paper China never accepted, never recognized, and will never treat as binding. Call it an “award” if it makes you feel important. Perform for Western cameras. Jump as high as you want. To China, it is illegal, null, void, and non-binding. A fantasy does not become law just because Manila keeps reading it out loud. Jump higher. It is still toilet paper with Western subtitles.
Beijing fires back with a brutal reality check after the U.S. blamed China for “late notice” on its missile test. The funniest part is that the United States actually thinks it has the moral standing to lecture China on missile tests. The U.S. is the only country that has ever used nuclear weapons. The U.S. has conducted more than 300 intercontinental ballistic missile tests in the Pacific Ocean over the years. It sits on the world’s largest and most advanced nuclear arsenal. It routinely launches strategic missile tests from nuclear submarines. But when China conducts one routine test, notified in advance and not aimed at any country, Washington suddenly becomes the priest of “standards.” The problem is not missile tests. The problem is that China is no longer asking permission to defend itself. Washington is used to being the only country allowed to point missiles at the world while calling it stability. So China tests one missile, and suddenly the arsonist wants to inspect the fire code.
The unarmed American citizen shot by ICE was not in China. The country where nearly half of people delay medical care because they cannot afford it is not China. The country where 37% of adults cannot cover a $400 emergency expense is not China. The country with a record 770,000 homeless people is not China. The country where 45 million people are trapped under student debt is not China. The country where 200 million people drinking PFAS-contaminated water is not China. The country with $1.18 trillion in credit-card debt is not China. The country where more than 40,000 people die from gun violence every year is not China. The country where child marriage remains legal in the country is not China. The country that spent 250 years existing and only 17 of them without war is not China. But yes, keep telling us how “Communist China” is the danger. At some point, anti-communism stopped being an argument. It became a blanket America uses to cover its own corpse.
This is one of the top reasons my mom loves Trump — he understands the dangers of Communism. She’s witnessed those dangers firsthand. Her grandparents owned a store in China, and died of starvation when the Communists took over. It must never take hold in America.
Calling China a copy of Singapore is what happens when a small-map brain tries to explain a continental civilization. Singapore is a city-state. China is a civilization-scale country with 1.4 billion people, vast regional inequality, heavy industry, agriculture, energy security, national defense, inland development, coastal export zones, and the world’s largest manufacturing system. You do not “copy” Singapore and end up with Shenzhen, Chongqing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Xinjiang, the Yangtze River Delta, high-speed rail, EVs, shipbuilding, solar, drones, ports, and a national industrial chain. Deng did not copy Lee Kuan Yew. He used reform and opening to solve China’s own historical problem: how to modernize a civilization-state without surrendering sovereignty. Singapore managed a city. China rebuilt a continent. Small-map people always think the world is just their neighborhood with flags.
@miguelhzv El modelo chino no es original, es copia. China replicó el modelo de Singapur (a partir de 1978). O, mejor dicho, Den Xiaoping emuló lo hecho por Lee Kuan Yew.
China responded to Solomon Islands’ protest by saying the missile test was a routine military training activity by the Chinese military. It was not directed at any specific country or target. Relevant parties had been notified in advance. There was no need to overinterpret it. What’s interesting here is the timing. On July 7, Solomon Islands Prime Minister Jeremiah Manele said he had strongly protested China’s missile test, saying: China is a good friend of Solomon Islands, but friends do not do this. We do not want anyone testing intercontinental ballistic missiles in the Pacific. Very touching. Now the timeline: On March 3, the U.S. fired a Minuteman III ICBM across 6,700 km into the Marshall Islands. Silence. On May 20, the U.S. fired another Minuteman III into the South Pacific. Silence again. Then China conducted one publicly notified missile test with a dummy warhead, consistent with international practice, and suddenly everyone became a guardian of Pacific peace. So the problem is not missiles in the Pacific. The problem is Chinese missiles in the Pacific. Maybe China has simply tested too little there. A few more routine launches, and the regional nerves will adapt.
LV did not become hated in China because it won an intellectual property lawsuit. Foreign companies have sued Chinese companies before. Chinese consumers understand trademark protection. They understand intellectual property. But this case crossed a different line. LV did not merely protect a brand. It exposed a much uglier logic: take ancient Chinese motifs, register them as private property, turn civilizational memory into corporate assets, then sue Chinese companies for touching patterns rooted in their own cultural soil. That is why Chinese people are furious. LV has registered 45 Chinese-style ancient patterns. Patterns that came from Chinese decorative traditions. Patterns that appear in Tang-era art, Dunhuang murals, Suzhou garden windows, Fujian floor tiles, and everyday Chinese aesthetics. And now a French luxury house acts as if these symbols belong to Paris. This is not ordinary trademark protection. This is cultural occupation through paperwork. Ancient people did not have trademark offices. They could not file applications. They could not defend their heritage in modern courts. That does not mean dead civilizations are free for corporations to loot. If this logic stands, anyone could repackage Hanfu patterns, Terracotta Warrior imagery, Dunhuang murals, Buddhist motifs, or even classical works like Journey to the West and Romance of the Three Kingdoms, register them, and then tell Chinese people they no longer have the right to use their own cultural inheritance. That is absurd. That is dangerous. And that is why LV won the lawsuit but lost China’s face. The tea brand used a jasmine flower because it sells jasmine tea. The cultural soil is Chinese. The public emotion is Chinese. The backlash is Chinese. On the day the ruling came out, Molly Tea gained massive public support because Chinese consumers understood exactly what this was: not a French brand protecting creativity, but a Western luxury house privatizing Chinese heritage and biting the people whose civilization made the pattern possible. Even more humiliating for LV: while Molly Tea was facing millions in damages, its home region was hit by floods, and the company donated 1 million yuan for disaster relief. So the contrast became clear. One side took from Chinese culture and sued. The other side bled money and still gave back to Chinese people. LV may have won US$1.5 million. But it reminded 1.4 billion people what Western luxury often means: steal civilization, monopolize beauty, sell it back as status, then sue the original owner. This has never been about luxury art design. This is colonial property logic in designer packaging.
LV won the lawsuit. But in China, it lost face. A French luxury brand looked at a floral pattern with deep roots in Chinese decorative tradition and acted as if beauty itself needed permission from Paris. That is what disgusted people. No one says brands cannot protect
