Don’t get me wrong, I’m a hater of short seasons & complain about them all the time, I don’t think 8 eps are enough to properly DEVELOP storylines and characters, but I do think we can totally connect and care about characters within 1 or 2 eps when they are charismatic enough.
Bit of a skill issue of lack of charisma though, because there are many older shows where we DO connect with the characters on episode 1 or 2! I was already quite invested and connected with the characters of Lost, PLL, TVD, spn, Heroes, and so many others within a couple eps! +
the reason so many original shows are getting cancelled these days is because of the stupid 8 episode format… how is anyone supposed to connect with and enjoy the characters and show with so little time
Kind of the most perfect styling too for all of them like you can just tell who they are as characters *just* based off the hair and makeup

So true, his character arc is beautifully written, so compelling and so satisfying. Ben Linus has one of the most beautiful journeys of any character in the history of TV.

with all due respect, the positive part is that "there's no plan for it today"
