@ellensandell You do realise nearly every company all ready offers working from home today. The standard seems to be 3 days office 2 WFH. Why change something that works so well. Nothing good comes from this

@SarahMoloney36 100% and you can do it today. So many organisations offer it today with most organisations standardising on a 3 day office/ 2 days WFH where the job allows it be done from home. This was always a strange hill for Labor to die on by legislating something we can already do.

@Paula_Poulter1 How ?what do you even mean by modernising the workforce? Regardless working from home is still happening today in almost every business. If a job can be done from home most companies have adopted a 3/2 work week. This was always an odd labor policy.

@TonyShepherd4 You underestimate the impact Covid had on many people and the evidence now shows many of the restrictions placed on Melbourne had no science behind them. This is why he is so despised by so many. Some Decisions were political and not health related- curfew, outside hours etc

@Melbourne_says seems his advice has been to adopt all popular LNP policies, announce them prior to the election to try and hurt the LNP. All this is doing is showing him to be a very weak leader. I wasn’t a fan of Andrews but he 100% backed in what the party decided and stuck to his principles

@dia_sterology spot on, job is done by local councils but the mandates and framework for waste collection is a state govt responsibility managed by the agency recycling Victoria. Example of this is Labor moved to standardise bin lids so many councils just recently went from yellow to red lids

@RabidLagomorph Fun fact for you - The state government regulates and mandates the framework of waste collection. Council then manages the operation of the mandate. The govt dept responsible for this is recycle Victoria.

@lesstenny Yet rents are increasing, I don’t barrack for political parties and will never vote ON but this his not the flex you imagine it to be. Wait till the house your in is sold and you have to find more money for rent and move house. It’s tough out there lots of investors selling.

@JKennedy1947 I think you misunderstand the simplicity and brilliance in this policy and I’ll give them credit for this one. As small and out of jurisdiction for the state government of the day, it is brilliant. The red lid bin fortnightly challenge is real in the burbs.

What on earth are you an about. This will not result in more rubbish just more frequent collection and avoid the squish

@LisaJaneSpencer This will be a massive vote winner. Sometimes it’s the small things that will resonate. Amen to weekly red bin collections

@SarahMoloney36 @netz_melb not sure of the relationship you have with the bike person. But again if this person is out on bail right now I agree they should be very loud but if this bike person is either in jail or in a mental health facility away from the public isn’t this a good thing??

@SarahMoloney36 @netz_melb not sure the relationship with bike boy, if he has broken bail then he is sent back to jail or in this case it seems a mental health facility so what’s the silince you are referring to as this looks like a rare case the bail laws have worked.

@mackaysuzie You’re missing the point here and in a big way. Yes adults can make that decision with mature brains but it’s the advertising on pages kids access that should be banned immediately. Take the AFL as an example, when kids know the odds you know we have a problem.
