Yesterday I adopted the oldest, and sorest shelter dog. I'll never forget his eyes. When I went into the cage he didn't even bother to look, he knew I wouldn't even see him. Curling around the corner He'd accepted his fate. The volunteer said to me many times... Are you sure this one? Are you sure? YES! This is my dog. He opened the cage and 3 animals fell on me. I ran towards him, suddenly he looked at me as if he saw an angel... I hugged him and told him that now he'll be happy again. Then he sleeps in my lap... probably the first peaceful sleep he ever had. Give it a life. Give it a hug. They need us."

Here’s a concept I never knew when I was Muslim… and now that I’m Christian, it shocks me to my core: The first Adam brought death by a tree. The last Adam brought life by a tree. That symmetry is EVERYTHING. Check this out: “Sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men.” Romans 5:12.  One man, Adam, reached for a tree in a garden, and death poured into the entire human race. Every grave, every funeral, every sad goodbye goes right back to that tree. Paul goes harder: “as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so by one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous.” Romans 5:19. One man broke it. One Man gets to fix it. That’s why Jesus is called “the LAST Adam.” 1 Corinthians 15:45. The first Adam took the fruit of a tree and gave us death. The last Adam was nailed to a tree He created and gave us life. “For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.” 1 Corinthians 15:22. Islam told me Adam’s sin was a small slip, quickly forgiven, no lasting damage. That repentance and deeds for stumbling was enough. But if Adam only stumbled, I don’t need a Savior, just a reminder. The Bible says Adam fell, and took the world with him. So I don’t need a reminder. I need the last Adam. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ.

Quick shout out to my instructor pilot in pilot training. Columbus AFB, MS. Lt Chuck King, USAFA. I was not a good student in T-37s. I struggled at times, I succeeded at times. But I still didn’t know if I had what it took and if I really wanted to do this. It’s a commitment, trust me. Then I met Lt Chuck King. He was my T-38 instructor and brand new. I was his first student and he was the guy that turned the light on for me. Changed my life. Not only was he a fantastic instructor and leader of men, he became a good friend. T-38s turned out to be a whole new experience and I excelled. Thank you, Chuck! I hope you see this! You created the life I have.

🔥🚨 DEVELOPING: It has been revealed that Smithsonian Secretary Lonnie Bunch earned over $4.4 million between 2020 and 2024 while aggressively pushing DEI as the central mission of the taxpayer-subsidized institution. Before I converted to Christianity, I was taught David was truly a sinless prophet and an example for us to follow. The Quran was clear on that. Meanwhile, the Bible tells David’s fall in brutal detail: he takes Bathsheba, she conceives, and to cover it he arranges Uriah’s death in battle. 2 Samuel 11:14-17. God sends Nathan, who traps David with a parable and declares, “You are the man!” 2 Samuel 12:7.  Totally rewritten into a parable in the Quran, by the way. Surah 38:21-26. Back to the Bible. David breaks: “I have sinned against the LORD.” 2 Samuel 12:13. And out of that failure comes Psalm 51, the most profound prayer of repentance ever written: “Create in me a clean heart, O God.., a broken and contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.” Psalm 51:10, 17. The Quran honors David as a prophet but omits this fall. But without the sin, there’s no Psalm 51.  And Psalm 51 has taught three thousand years of broken people how to come back to God. The smoothing doesn’t just hide a failure, it deletes the very text that shows grace reaching the guiltiest. The Bible left David’s sin in, because the point was never that David was great. The point was that God is merciful, even to an adulterer and murderer who repents. How offensively loving is our God, that he would give Jesus as a ransom for us sinners…?
