#chatgpt is putting itself out of work. Our V1 used a call to the chatgpt api to do a small thing. Then we asked chatgpt for the code we need to do the small thing. Now our V2 is a blob of code from chatgpt running in our own microservice.

The most salient point about the singularity is that it is an inflexion point through which you can’t see. By that sign, #chatgpt3 was the singularity. Everything changed. That’s at the very least a candidate for THE #singularity

@Computer_Witch @MikeColangelo Ross was originally a New Zealander. I don’t know if he has taken out Australian citizenship. IIRC he’s lived in Sydney since the 80s. His Ufo interest started with 1978 Kiakoura incident which was huge news in NZ.
