I think this is true. Republicans want to control the top military in place so it will comply with any request they make. Including deployment against their own citizens.

A while back I stated that I thought Tubberville is blocking military promotions so that a Republican president can make them…now I’m sure that’s what he’s doing On Dec 16th 2020 Trump wrote out an executive order to have the military take over the nation alleging rampant voter

@HenriettaGreat @MikeSington It’s not. Late term abortions are very rare and only happen when the mother’s life is in jeopardy or the baby isn’t viable. And there are certainly no babies being “aborted” after birth. That would be murder.

I ran into a friend last night that I hadn’t seen in a while. (She’s a former Republican but TFG changed that! Years ago she was the Mayor in Hot Springs, Arkansas, irrelevant to my story here, just an interesting tidbit.) We were talking about everything going on in our country (primarily women’s rights) and I mentioned I spent most of my time on Twitter, and making phone calls, writing emails, etc. I made some silly comment about not knowing why I spend all my free time doing these things. She put her hands on my shoulders, looked me in the eyes, and said, “You do it because you have a daughter and you have granddaughters.” She’s right. I’m holding the door open, as best I can, for them and all the women behind me. #DemVoice1 #ProudBlue

According to the Progress Action Fund, Twitter banned the following political ad that they had placed on Twitter/X, and then their account was shadow banned. The ad below, entitled “Republicans In Your Bedroom,” which PAF says was intended for the August 8 election in Ohio was taken down, according to the group. Progress Action Fund believes this ad was taken down due to Elon Musk having a “far-right political agenda.” I decided to check the Twitter ad policy, and that policy does say that the promotion of “adult sexual content” is not permitted. Some of the examples of of this content would include the following: •Full and partial nudity •Modeled clothing that is sexual in nature I think that perhaps this ad could be deemed to fall under the second bullet point, but I believe that would be quite a reach. That would mean that virtually all swimwear ads would also be prohibited. I think Twiitter/X owes an explanation for this. Was this ad really banned? If so, why? Also why is the aforementioned account shadow banned (if that is true)? What are everyone’s thoughts? Should this ad be permitted on Twitter? If not, why not?

If you thought DeSantis requiring teaching that the enslaved could “parlay” skills learned was bad. You ain't seen nothing yet. The African-American studies curriculum has been turned into conservative talking points for political posturing. Educators are required to teach that George Washington was a “key figure in the quest to end slavery.”  Let's be clear, Washington never introduced legislation, an executive order, or a handwritten note seeking to abolish slavery. He stated that whipping was “very proper.” He died owning 317 enslaved people. Educators are also required to teach “but Black people owned slaves too.” A study by Black historian Carter G. Woodson revealed that census records show the majority of Black owners of enslaved were such from the point of view of philanthropy. The husband purchased the wife, or vice versa … The enslaved of Black people were the children of a free father who had found and purchased his wife back and the children were listed as enslaved on the census.
