@batcountry1980 I was lucky enough to see many of the great bands and artists from the 70s and 80’s, but a later musical standout moment remains when Born Slippy was ‘dropped’ (I think that’s the term - I’m a dinosaur) in Space, Ibiza, in about 2002ish. Absolutely electrifying.

@batcountry1980 This is very good analysis. Your description shines a new light on the music, and reminds of what the ‘New Apocalyptic’ poets were trying to achieve in the mid c20. I shall revisit Underworld - and let’s face it the tunes were banging too.

@Daniel_Sturley @BirminghamWeAre @BhamCityCouncil @ParadiseBham Nice work. I’ve thought about this as a little project myself but never got round to it. If you haven’t yet seen it, the view from Handsworth Gun Placement (WW2) is good (or used to be when I explored it as a kid - more trees now.)
