Look I get it, not everyone liked Charlie. To many he was a hero, to others just a punk. Did he deserve what he got? Absolutely! I mean, which other kid would YOU give the keys to the chocolate factory to? Augustus Gloop? Veruca Salt?? Don’t make me laugh! Willy chose wisely.

The show just dragged on for me and didn't deliver the payoff *I* wanted. I expected more. There. I've said my piece. Nothing personal. I hope the books are good.

Finally got to see the doco ‘The Ghost of Peter Sellers’ about the harrowing time Peter Medak had directing the criminally-underrated film ‘Ghost in the Noonday Sun’. I felt so sad for Medak who even to this day is told the film was a failure that I felt compelled to email him..
