I am thinking about the phrase 'politics of accountability'. What might that look like in educational systems that frequently hold students 'accountable' for their learning but fail to do turn the same lens on themselves? #WeReadMathEd, @MathTeach_BEW

That includes transphobic, racist, sexist and/or homophobic language. There is no debate surrounding the humanity of queer and Indigenous people on here. Period. Looking forward to thoughtful discussion with y'all!

What does mathematical ownership look like in a classroom? I am thinking about what it means to pull back, letting students explore, think, and connect in ways that are culturally affirming to their evolving identities as mathematicians/humans. #WeReadMathEd
