'Deliverability is 98%' usually means 98% accepted by the server. It doesn't mean 98% hit the inbox. A 250 response can be followed by immediate spam placement. Know the difference.

DKIM gives you a persistent identity that follows you across IPs. Gmail requires 1024-bit, recommends 2048. Don't just publish the DNS record - send a message and verify the header.

If you are doing sales to a landing page, try to maximize every single path. Collect email, collect mobile, have a live chat bot (ideally a real person), make sure it collects email and you really respond to that too. Save the pixel for re-marketing. If the double opt-in didn't fire, follow back up. Talk to everybody that took the time to sign up, they will be brutally honest...good/bad and ugly. Keep iterating.

Gmail requires SPF or DKIM for all senders, and both at bulk volumes. DMARC required, TLS required, one-click unsubscribe required for marketing.
