@thekitze Montreal? Also in Canada for Healthcare you can go private if you want to. Easily same/next day appointments. For the big stuff (surgery, etc) you still go public.

@aidenybai @gabriel1 Yea this is 100% acid reflux - had the exact symptoms before getting diagnosed. Only thing that works for me is being on a PPI (not great long term, but it's what works). Try and get Omeprazole or other from your doc - but start with Zantac from a pharmacy for now

@akohlsmith @yacineMTB In Ontario? Coming from New Brunswick with a town pop. of 1100 - not even close to the experience I had. Most of my classmates dropped out of STEM degrees because they weren't prepared for the challnge.

@peduarte Go for a Zojirushi induction version. High upfront cost, but they last forever. Lot's of presets for different rice types / steaming etc. Always perfect rice, easy to clean.

@bunnycattyy @PatrickHeizer We went with Parachute. Specifically the vintage linen bed blanket. I can't recommend their sheets though. We bought one set and they only lasted ~1 year before the tore through.

@Kampfkekschen @garou321123 @codemiko In my case, I have a weak lower esophageal sphincter that doesn't close all the way because of some trauma from another illness as a kid. So there's pretty much only one solution (PPIs) and taking extra vitamins to make up for it.
