@anewthought74 @Rmns58 @MickMilee This is the difference between this world and the Next. In this world, the wrong doers carry their scars. If A killed someone, they always walk with that scar. But in the Hereafter, if A receives God’s Grace, that scar is fully removed. That is the nature of forgiveness.

But, I would say that, in this world, the wrong doer carries the scars of their mistakes … even after forgiveness.

@anewthought74 @Rmns58 @MickMilee God cannot be harmed. There is no “injury” to repay. A person will be reckoned by God for their aligning their wills with His guidance or rejecting and rebelling … turning towards God or away from Him. But those who believe, that is where Grace comes in.

@anewthought74 @Rmns58 @MickMilee The answer is actually clear in Islam. One of the names of the Day of Judgement is, “the Day of Mutual Gains and Losses”, Another is, “the Day Debts Fall Due”. On that day, absolute justice between created beings will be established before the weighing of deeds.

@enesovat22 Because it goes against the teachings of the Messiah Jesus ﷺ and all of the Prophets sent by God. I would argue, such a concept itself goes against the Good News. But hey, why do Christians find it difficult to believe God forgives without the need for a sacrifice at all?
