@dotkrueger Great. You should do that; it is one important aspect of the bigger picture, but it is not an either/or argument. There is plenty of room for growth in many areas. Are growing pains a reason to not explore new use cases?

FIFA nonsense. It assumes that covering one’s mouth is not privacy or an attempt to avoid lip-reading. Rather, it assumes concealment equals malice. That is dangerous and infantile institutional reasoning: “We cannot hear what you said, so we will punish the possibility of what you might have said.” Further, If you are on this soil, you should not be sanctioned for the manner in which you express yourself. Nobody should be subjected to petty policing because a governing sports body wants to broadcast its moral stance. That does not mean sport has no rules and that decency is not important. But the rules should regulate overt misconduct, not presume guilt from a hand near a mouth.

@kennycooperjr We lived in Denton, Tx in the early-mid 70's. I saw your dad play several times with Kyle Rote jr., Bobby Moffat, Renshaw, Mitic, et. al. I was keeper for the Denton Savings Lions in '72 and '73 after seeing your dad play. Thanks for the great clip and memories. All the best.
