@tracey_thorn I’ve often found that my appreciation for something artistic had less to do with the intrinsic artistic value of it and way more with anything that was happening to me or around me at that time. And I mean this both ways.

@Loredan88341499 @Poesiaitalia @manginobrioches La struttura si può acquistare a poco prezzo in kit (su Etsy) e poi si può rifinirla come si vuole. Il costo è elevato perché il lavoro che c’è dietro è tanto e minuziosissimo. Anch’io ne sono affascinata - è meraviglioso quello che si può fare con uno specchio ben posizionato ;)

@RevRichardColes Stelline/pastina in general here are only eaten in soups, and very brothy ones (“minestrina” being the most popular, just pastina and stock made from cubes. Perfect comfort food to cure lots of ailments). This recipe looks very promising though and I’ll have a go at it with rice.

@masato_jones I was 19 and watched it on TV (I’m from Italy). “Watched” together over the phone with my boyfriend, who was living in another town. I don’t remember any performance in particular, but do remember the feeling that it was some sort of epic moment and was happy to acknowledge it.
