Corporate profits are at record highs and the President has no direct control over prices - CEOs and executives do. And they tend to vote Republican. They obviously don't want Biden to look good.

It's never taken this long to elect a speaker before. Infighting and disagreement is part of the process but no one is actually offering solutions to any problems.
