@immlawyercanada When IRCC shows concerns on integrity I wonder where is integrity when thousands of humanitarian applications already approved in principle are made to wait due to caps ! Totally unethical . All those applications if goes for judicial review will win without a contest .

@smeurrens More interesting is that DOJ doesn’t have any tracking of Mandamus Applications. In response to my ATIP “ I regret to inform you that a search of the records under the control of the Department of Justice Canada has revealed none relating to the subject of your request.”

@MannyLidher Could have been a very strong case if lawyer made it so. Problem is lawyers are so busy with multiple cases that they just rely on submissions provided by client and not asking them to gather more and submit with a detailed guidance .

@immlawyercanada Sometimes I wonder as what the officer's humanitarian considerations are! Is the decision maker always thinking on the present permanent resident caps in place by the government to decide a case! Slots full so just deny and put forth any argument. An able lawyer exposes it all.

@immlawyercanada @smeurrens decisions.fct-cf.gc.ca/fc-cf/decision… This case shows how important is a lawyer's representation in court. Have come across weaker cases getting approved due to better representation. What mattered in this was strong bonds between a grand parent and child .

@BOIndiaOfficial @PIBHomeAffairs I am not sure what is actual process of passport update for those who are updating more than 90 days after issuance . Used Misc service to update but application is pending over 1.5 months now. Have tried to ask @cgivancouver but no clear answer except standard auto emails.

@RaviRandalJain Citizens who pay taxes are not the priority as they would be considered as Social Burden but the International commitments is the priority to accept the foreigners who are in need of protection. Our Parents don't need that.

@BOIndiaOfficial @PIB_India @PIBHomeAffairs Not sure what and why. I hold OCI for a very long time and had registered for FTI before going to India. When landed went to KIOSK for biometrics but it would fail every time and didn't allow me to submit the biometrics. Ultimately had to do immigration through normal process.
