@Doug_Thonus That’s all reasonable and fair. The process wasn’t good. It might be fine if he’s better than what he’s been. I’m more so attacking the idea that he will be better at basketball that he has been now that he plays in Chicago and that must mean he will be better.

If he’s good, that’s good. If he’s not, the opportunity cost becomes more quickly. Let’s see what happens. Probability suggests it’s most likely he is who he is and is an average starting center who is highly replaceable.

I don’t hate the Claxton deal as much as some do — I’d rather him than overpaying a RFA, but would’ve preferred a cheaper stop gap. I also acknowledge that he hasn’t been good of late, for various reasons, and there’s no evidence to suggest it WILL change

@Doug_Thonus I have none of my own opinions and only react to others, but I will say you're correct and Graham deserves zero credit for Wilson and, more broadly, had a very risk-averse offseason, which is fine, but because of it, it doesn’t deserve the adulation some want it to have.
