@khrunchie omg don’t use grammarly, back when i was doing my masters my friend used it to check her grammar (she NEVER used ai otherwise) and she got called in by our prof cos her term paper was flagged for 75% ai 😭

GUYS, buat kalian yg suka baca ao3, do you know you can detect if an author uses AI? ini lagi jadi topik hangat di kalangan intl fandom loh. spt yg kalian tau beberapa author gak murni menjual hasil karyanya, apalagi dgn maraknya penggunaan ai skrg. how do we know? a thread.
justru author yg apa-apa pake ai tuh gak ngerasain the essence of brainstorming, susahnya when you put your character's feeling into words, atau susahnya parafrase biar kata-katanya gak diulang-ulang. wkwk jadi inget ini corat coret buat ao3 esper-guide universe aku itu...
but still, jangan normalize using ai ya buat nulis. mungkin boleh buat beberapa frasa (gak bohong, aku juga kadang minta ai untuk frasa tertentu kayak buat mengungkapkan sesuatu/gesture/anything), tapi jangan semuanya. kita yang punya ide, kita yang lebih tau dari ai.
cause sometimes, being an author is not just about what you feel and write. sometimes you have these great ideas, but you struggle to express and put them into words. its not like i'm supporting ai at this point, but i just wanna remind you of the struggles of being an author...
