A Jewish person was stabbed a half a block from the Jewish Center on the UWS the attacker stabbed someone else two blocks later. According to some witnesses, the attacker screamed "allahu akbar." Still trying to corroborate.

I am absolutely sickened and furious by what appears to be an antisemitic stabbing on the Upper West Side. While we await additional details to be confirmed, we know that what is happening in our city is abhorrent. The fear in the Jewish community is real. Every New Yorker deserves to feel safe in their neighborhood, regardless of their faith or identity. We must remain united in condemning antisemitism and ensuring those responsible are held fully accountable. I thank the NYPD for its swift response in apprehending the assailant. My prayers are with the victims and their loved ones.

BREAKING: A man in alleged antisemitic attack is accused of stabbing two Jewish men, ages 40 and 50, on Manhattan's Upper West Side, according to government officials. NYPD say the first victim was stabbed in the back while walking on a sidewalk. The suspect then allegedly stabbed a second man in the chest nearby at West 86th Street and Central Park West. Billboard Campaign Answers Antisemitism With Jewish Joy A campaign fighting antisemitism with a message some might think unusual: joy. "Born to Be a Yid" billboards greet 80,000 commuters at a Manhattan entrance with two laughing Jewish kids and 70,000 overlooking the Staten Island Ferry Terminal featuring a couple under the chuppah.
