It’s more like having to pay to work… if you’re a lender and you know people have to repay the loan no matter what then I’d give as much money out as possible with guranteed repayment… furthermore even with 6-7 pct interest the government loses money on these loans( at least the income driven repayment) take down interest rates make the borrowing the most beneficial for the borrower principle first interest last or some arrangement. These people are taking a risk on themselves going through the education system. Education shouldn’t be this expensive.

@americanvoice__ Didnt Portland Oregon do this?? pretty much decriminalized carrying small amounts of every narcotic. Property theft rates way up and overdoses increased as well. Not sure if anything got better but legalization doesn’t seem like the way to go.
