A gentle reminder of what stands in the way — so we can remove it together: Ableism: The outdated idea that typical abilities are "better" — when in truth, every body and every mind brings unique strengths. Audism: The preference for spoken language over sign — overlooking the beauty and power of Deaf communication and culture.
