Someone's Son @mutunga001

He did not ask for an apology. He wrote the apology, compared himself to Pelé and Maradona, and then got offended when the coach would not read it out loud. That graphic is the script. Jorge Jesus was supposed to stand at a press conference and say he made a mistake putting someone of the stature of Pelé or Maradona on to warm up and then not using him. If it were today, he would not do it. Then, to close the subject, he does not want Cristiano a little. He wants him a lot. Fortunately Cristiano also believes in him. Ronaldo says he validated the notes. Validated. A 41-year-old wrote his own tribute, put the two greatest players ever in it as a size comparison, and called that a clarification. And those were not even the maddest lines in the eight-point document. He also wanted the coach to announce that he knows how much Cristiano lives and loves the national team, the weight he has in the world, and the positive influence he has had on Portugal for 24 consecutive years. Then, on not greeting the fans, Jesus was meant to say a man with more than 230 caps does not take lessons on loving Portugal, that it was only frustration, and that he is the player who gives the most autographs and takes the most selfies. He scripted the fan defence as well. None of it, he says, even required an apology. He is right. It required a press officer. The coach did not read the fan fiction, so Ronaldo left the camp rather than wait for another broken promise. The promise being that Portugal’s manager would publicly describe him as Pelé, Maradona, and a man he wants a lot. Ridiculous does not cover it. He tried to subcontract his own praise and then acted betrayed when it was not delivered. x.com/fcbmessiaddiic…

Uganda have said that there border with Congo has been closed since May yet Duale is claiming that the patient used a bus from Congo to Uganda😳

'History probably will not remember how either wound down in their final years on the pitch. 'Yet there is something fitting about their conduct and the image each has projected in the past few days. Messi as beatific, largely contained, but holding great emotional weight. Ronaldo pouting, furious and unashamedly putting himself first.' @thomgibbs has more ⤵️ telegraph.co.uk/football/2026/…

Who dropped the ball in this whole Ebola joke? How can an Ebola patient who has been in hospital for a month gallivant undetected across half the continent, waft through a high security airport where there should be top notch screening, mingle his way out and then all then make his way to Nairobi hospital undetected? At the very least minister Duale should resign or be fired for incompetence, unless the President has other reasons to keep him in office. You let this happen on your watch, resign!

Toda a gente foi demasiado rápida a chamar o Ronaldo de arrogante antes de saberem a história toda. Agora que se sabe, dá para chamá-lo de muito mais coisas.

At some point, Portuguese current or ex players are going to need to speak up. Nobody having the balls to say what needs to be said is part of their problem

I've never in my entire life seen someone with this much of a god complex... like cartoonishly high level you only see in movies

«Errei ao colocar alguém da dimensão de Pelé ou Maradona a aquecer para depois não o colocar em jogo. Se fosse hoje não o faria.» Qualquer individuo que pense isto e exija a um seleccionador dizer isto em publico, não só não deve jogar na seleção como precisa de ajuda.

He’s my favorite person in the world right now. Deal with that wanna be Pele and Maradona

Aden Duale failed to mention that the alleged Kenyan who allegedly died from the alleged Ebola disease was a person from his Somali ethnicity and extraction-and whose family and friends have been warned against speaking out or revealing his information.

There is too much dishonesty regarding Cristiano Ronaldo discourse all the time At 41, no player should still be playing for club and country, it's outrightly ridiculous He seems to be a man surrounded by yes men and cheerleaders with no one to tell him the hard truth

“Classy”? Walking out on your national team because you didn’t get 30 minutes, then publishing the script the manager was supposed to follow at a press conference? Pelé e Maradona taught us a very different meaning of class, Piers.
