Erling Braut Haaland. An all-timer already at this age for me. It’s hard to name a better goal scorer and whoever you do name, he can certainly hang with them. Decisive, deliberate, selfish and selfless in the right ways. 7 World Cup goals? Ridiculous. And as a superstar, he’s perhaps the easiest to accommodate too. Price is importantly and so are valuations but i have come to the conclusion that price talks only ever matter if the player doesn’t do well. If a player comes in and is GREAT, and gives you positive long term service. Nobody cares how much you paid. However budget constraints, I guess and the myriad of needs United have - seems it just wasn’t ever feasible. But it’s all well and good walking away @INEOS - but unless you react accordingly, still maintain standard and ambition and we have success and growth next season, the summer THEN will looking extremely damning. All eyes on you INEOS, pressures on.
