एलोन मस्क, महाकाय संपत्ती, जागतिक भांडवलशाहीतील बदल, आणि सामान्य नागरिक. एलोन मस्कची संपत्ती एक ट्रिलियन डॉलरपेक्षा जास्त झाली हे त्यांच्यासाठी सेलिब्रेट करण्याचा प्रसंग असेल ; पण आपण? त्यांचेच शोषण करणाऱ्या जमीनदाराच्या मुलाच्या लग्नाच्या वरातीत गावातले लोक नाचतात तसे नाचायचे? स्वतःला एक पैशाचा नफा नसताना “किती ग्रेट ना” म्हणून न्यूनगंडातून, जमीनदार देवाचा अंश असतो म्हणून, कौतुक करायचे? अफाट वार्षिक मिळकत आणि त्यातून बेफाट संपत्ती संचय गोळा करणाऱ्या व्यक्तींच्या स्टोऱ्या ऐकल्या की आपल्याकडे डोळे दिपून घेऊन , स्वतःची विचारशक्ती देखील बधिर करून घेण्याची पूर्वापार पद्धत आहे. एलोन मस्क यांची स्टोरी ऐकून तेच होणार. एलोन मस्क म्हणजे नजीकच्या काळात जागतिक कॉर्पोरेट भांडवलशाही सर्व जगासाठी काय अक्राळ विक्राळ रूप घेऊन येणार आहे ते सांगणारी पायलट कार आहे. मस्क यांची ही उपलब्धी जागतिक भांडवलशाहीतील एका नवीन फिनोमिनोनचे प्रतिनिधीत्व करत आहे. या फिनोमिनोनचे राजकीय अन्वयार्थ लावण्याचा प्रयत्न करूया ___________________________ Space X/ स्पेस एक्स या एलोन मस्क यांच्या कंपनीचा ऐतिहासिक आयपिओ ठरल्याप्रमाणे अमेरिकेत पार पडला. आयपिओला प्रचंड प्रतिसाद मिळाला आहे. आयपिओ ७५ बिलियन डॉलर्सचा होता आणि एकूण २५० बिलियन डॉलर्स गोळा झाले. एका शेअरची इश्यू प्राईस १३५ डॉलर होती ती लिस्टिंग झाल्यावर दोन दिवसात १६० डॉलर्सवर गेली आहे. या बातम्यांची पुनरुक्ती नको करायला. त्यातून पुढे येणाऱ्या इतर गोष्टींवर लक्ष देऊया. _________________________________ १ स्पेस एक्सचे आज घडीचे fundamentals त्याची शेयर प्राईस टिकवून धरू शकणार नाहीत असे अनेक जाणकार सांगत आहेत. तरीदेखील संस्थात्मक आणि रिटेल गुंतवणूकदारांनी एवढ्या महाकाय पब्लिक इश्यूला भरभरून प्रतिसाद दिला. ही किमया कशी घडली. त्यात हाय व्होल्टेज हाइप / वातावरण निर्मिती तयार करण्याचा खूप मोठा वाटा आहे. मीडिया , सोशल मीडिया, वॉलस्ट्रीट वरील प्रवक्ते, financial influencers आणि तोंडातोंडी होत ही वातावरण निर्मिती केली गेली. खुद्द अमेरिकेत अजून काही नवं तंत्रज्ञान क्षेत्रातील मेगा आयपीओ ओपन एआय, anthropics.. येऊ घातले आहेत ; त्यावेळी देखील हेच होणार यात क्रिटिकल विश्लेषणाला काही वावच नसेल. फक्त शेयरचा भाव , कंपन्यांच्या बॅलन्स शीटचा आकार , मुख्य प्रवर्तकाची संपत्ती , मीडियाने तयार केलेली प्रतिमा यांनी दिपवून घ्यायचे आणि काही प्रश्न विचारायचे नाहीत २. एलोन मस्क यांनी आयपीओ लाँच करण्याच्या आधीच स्वतःसाठी स्पेस एक्स कंपनीमध्ये ८५ टक्के व्होटिंग पॉवरची तजवीज केली आहे. म्हणजे बोर्ड ऑफ डायरेक्टर्स वगैरे कागदावर असतील. यात कॉर्पोरेट गव्हर्नन्सचे गंभीर मुद्दे गुंतलेले आहेत. पण गुंतवणूकदारांना काहीही पडलेली नाही. तू काय कायदेशीर, बेकायदेशीर करायचे ते कर , शासनाला मॅनेज कर पण आम्हाला गडगंज नफा कमावून दे अशी गुंतवणूकदारांची मानसिकता आहे. मी म्हणेन ती पूर्व दिशा असे म्हणण्याचा प्रघात होता. पण अंतराळावर राज्य करू पाहणाऱ्या मस्क सारख्या व्यक्ती तर सूर्याला कोणत्या दिशेला उगवयाचे ते देखील मी ठरवतो अशी आत्मप्रौढी मारणारे आहेत. नवीन टेक युगातील राजे जन्माला येत आहेत प्रश्न मस्क यांचा नाही. तर गुंतणूकदार , नियामक मंडळे , शासनसंस्था , एकूण समाज, बँकिंग आणि भांडवल बाजाराची स्थिरता यांचा आहे. प्रश्न लोकशाही प्रणालीचा आहे. या सर्व मेगा कंपन्या त्या त्या क्षेत्रात मक्तेदारी वाढवणाऱ्या आहेत ; त्यांचे प्रवर्तक ओकारी येईल एवढे श्रीमंत असणार आहेत. ही मंडळी कोण निवडून येणार हे चान्स वर सोडण्याएवढी दूधखुळी नक्कीच नाहीत. तेच ठरवणार सत्तेवर कोण बसणार ते , आणि बसल्यानंतर काय निर्णय घेणार ते ठरवणार उदा. नोव्हेंबर २०२६ मध्ये होणाऱ्या मध्यावधी निवडणुकात रिपब्लिकन पक्षाचे उमेदवार निवडून येण्यासाठी मस्क देणगीदार म्हणून बरेच सक्रिय आहेत __________________ शेवटचे: एलोन मस्क कोणत्या राजकीय विचारधारेचे प्रतिनिधित्व करतात. अमेरिकेतील अनेक टेक ओलीगार्क उघडपणे उजव्या फासिस्ट राजकीय विचारसरणीचे पाठीराखे आहेत. मस्क यांनी ट्रम्प यांच्या शपथविधीच्या वेळी केलेला नाझी स्टाईल सॅल्यूट, त्यांनी ट्रम्प यांचे विश्वासू सहकारी म्हणून DOGE मंत्रालयातून केलेली तुफान नोकरकपात आणि अमेरिकन शासनाच्या बंद केलेल्या अनेक कल्याणकारी योजना …आठवून पहा. आपण भारतात ही माहिती कशासाठी ठेवायची ? या प्रश्नाचे उत्तर प्रत्येक वाचकावर. काही सबंध नाही असे वाटले तर पोस्ट वाचलीच नाही तरी चालतेय. संजीव चांदोरकर (१७ जून २०२६)
जादू होऊ शकते यावर विश्वास असणे हेच भावना प्रधानतेचे लक्षण आहे. लहान मुलांचा जादू-चमत्कार यावर विश्वास असणे समजू शकते. शिकलेली व्यक्ती जर नाते, आजार, संपत्ती आणि अवघड परिस्थिती हे जादूटोणा करून सुधरेल असे मानणार असेल तर काही खरे नाही. शिक्षणाने विवेक निर्माण होणे गरजेचे आहे.
पक्ष फुटला. पक्षाचं नाव-चिन्ह सगळं गेलं. नव्यानं सुरुवात केली. पुन्हा भिडले. नऊ खासदार जिंकवून आणले. आता त्यातलेही सहा फोडले जातायेत. सत्ता आणि पैशाचा वापर करत एखाद्याच्या लढाऊपणाची थट्टा उडवली जातेय. ही लढाई फेअर नाहीय. अशा लढाईत उद्धव ठाकरे काय, विरोधातला कुणीच जिंकणार नाही!

इम्तियाज अलीची #MainVaapasAaunga फिल्म पाहून नुकताच बाहेर आलोय. काय भारी फिल्म बनवलीय! फाळणीच्या भोवती गुंफलेली कथा. फिल्मचे काही सिन पाहताना इमोशनल झालो. आवर्जून पाहण्यासारखी फिल्म आहे. अस्सल इम्तियाज अलीची छाप असलेली फिल्म!
तर, हे पुस्तक वाचून स्वतंत्र लेख वगैरे लिहिणार नाही, कारण ते माझ्या अभ्यासासाठी आहे. ग्रंथ महागडा आहे, पण यातलं वैचारिक सोनं पाहता बौद्धिक गुंतवणूक म्हणून पाहा. मी तरी तसंच पाहतो अशा ग्रंथांकडे. ~ नामदेव काटकर (7/7)

तीन-साडेतीन महिन्यांपूर्वी गांधी वाचलं. एखाद्याचं चरित्र केवळ जन्म ते मरणाची टाईमलाईन नसावी, तर ते चिकित्सक आणि विश्लेषणात्मक असावं, हे अधोरेखित करणारं ते चरित्र आहे. मी आजवर वाचलेल्या चरित्रांपैकी कसबे सरांचं 'गांधी' सर्वोत्तम. (1/7)
